Based in the West Midlands, Jessica is an artist/curator interested in modern and contemporary art theory, making and exhibition practice. She graduated in 2017 from Coventry University with a First Class Honours degree in Fine Art and Illustration. Between 2017-18, she studied MA Contemporary Art Theory at Goldsmiths College, University of London (year 1 of 2) before deciding to pursue MA Art History and Curating at the University of Birmingham (2018-19).

Jessica's undergraduate artistic practice followed themes surrounding digital technology, consumerism and social commentary. During which, works like G|itch (2017) and Trechnology (2017) were created. Her postgraduate creative practice is inspired by the theoretical research she undertakes through her studies; this work included Appropriation of a Tragedy (2018). Jessica is currently focused on planning her next creative project and gaining curatorial experience. She has recently completed a collections development placement at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, and is co-curating an exhibition at Grand Union, Birmingham via the University of Birmingham.
